Lived in Bloomington, IN for 30 years and worked at Indiana University, as well as developing a footrace and triathlon results business named Final Reckoning. Moved to Springfield, MO in 2003 and worked at Drury University until retiring in 2017. My wife, Patty, taught at Mercy School of Nursing in Springfield and is now a Senior Cancer Research Nurse at Mercy Hospital. My daughter,Ana, is a junior attending my alma mater, Drury University. I graduated from Drury in 1973 in the 100th anniversary class. I hope to be around in 2023 to participate in the 150th anniversary. While in Bloomington, I wrote Language Arts assessment tests for the statewide "No Child Left Behind" initiative. I still feel guilty.
I've come to realize how rare and frozen in time were all those Friday and Saturday night dances sponsored by various clubs and held in the old gyms. That era has passed into history never to be resurrected--apparently.
